Marmoleum Floor Finish

This finish was formulated specifically to create a wipe-clean surface on Forbo true-linoleum floors.

We offer it, along with Marmoleum Floor Cleaner, because these are the maintenance products recommended by the manufacturer of our linoleum flooring.

Preparation:
Clean floor, using Forbo's Marmoleum Floor Cleaner.

Application:
Apply one thin coat. Use a clean, lint-free cloth or, better still, a fresh mop head that's been dampened and well squeezed out. If you use the same mop that you used to clean, make sure it is thoroughly rinsed.

Apply the finish evenly, working backward out of the room. Make sure you do not apply finish to wall base, carpets, furniture, etc. Allow the finish to dry—usually 30 to 40 minutes. Then apply a second coat. If you prefer a higher gloss level, add a third thin coat.

If after repeated cleanings you want to restore the shine, clean the floor well and reapply. Be careful not to over-apply finish to areas that are not walked on or the polish will build up. The need to reapply this finish varies according to circumstances, from perhaps every couple of months to once a year.

Drying:
Allow 30 to 40 minutes.

Cleanup:
Wash out mop in warm water.

Storage:
Keep out of the reach of children.
